I hate the sun and heat....

It's been so hot here in the UK for the last week. At the weekend I had my son's football tournament, then the next day his award ceremony, all these were outdoors in 27 degree centigrade temperatures.

I lathered myself in factor 50 suncream, but still have been really burnt, I feel so drained it's unreal and my joints are really tender and hurting, also my head feels like it's going to explode and I have really bad itching all over.

I hate the sun, but it had to be done, now I've got a night shift ahead of me, great just what I need.

I can only agree 100%with you. The summer heat is just starting in Texas, and I am already feeling so much worse: nausea, fatigue, weakness.   I stay out of the sun, but the heat still just drains me.

I'm a Texas girl and cannot take the heat either. (I"m currently living elsewhere and it's pretty hot here too) .. We go to TX every summer and driving in the car burns my eyes. I have to get some Noir sunglasses before we go this time.

I have raynuads so I LOVE the sun and heat. It feels like finally my whole body can relax.

I have to admit that hot and windy days do play havoc on my eyes now though.

Which team are you supporting, i'm a chelsea fan, finally they won cl but i'm not a fanatic, most important is enjoying the game, have no problem if the other team win if they deserve it. Was in London in january for the first time watching Chelsea-Sunderland, i loved london and england.

Before i got i'll i loved the sun but now can't stand it! Shade here i come.

Yep, the sun and I are not friends. I'm extremely photosensitive and will break out in rashes from the sun or exposed fluorescent lights. I just read that SS-A positivity is highly associated with photosensitivity and my SS-A is very high... I wonder how many of us who break out like this in response to the sun are SS-A positive?

BTW, I use SPF 100 and still react!

I'm high in SSA and react to sun and fluorescent lights, especially the ones at work.

     I went to a Memorial Service at the cemetery at 8:30 this morning. I had to stand in my husbands shadow to keep out of the sun. It was only around 80;  but after about 15 minutes I headed to the closest tree and some shade---I was feeling dizzy and could feel my heart start to pound.
   What in the world am I going to do when it gets really hot? and humid here in South New Jersey?  You don't have to answer that---I know the answer.

I find wearing an UV protective shirt and hat make a big difference, staying in the shade and if necessary, under an umbrella. Carrying and umbrella means I can make my own shade.

Did some minimal tidying around the patio.
Waited until 6pm to trim some low branches from a magnolia bush............whoa...felt dizzy...major headache....tried topamax ....no go.
I was only out there maybe 30 minutes/ temp was 88 in the shade....

This is the 4th summer of heat/sun intolerance at this level.

Maybe I should have worn sunglasses? Felt like a butterknife above my right eye and has lasted for hours.

Got Dear Husband a pair of Manchester United socks for Christmas ...he hung them ?  Mascot?

Im like everyone else. The heat drains me. Makes me sick most times. The sun burns my skin. I cannot be in it long. I actually got a slight sunburn Saturday even though i was covered with umbrellas. Hubby made sure i was covered. was out only 4 hours ..
