Guillain-Barr? Syndrome and Franklin D. Rosevelt

I was just watching Mysteries at the Museum and they believe that FDR did not have Polio at all, but the auto-immune disorder Guillain-Barr? Syndrome.  They won't be able to be sure, but everything points in that directions.

That is pretty interesting.  Did they give reasons why they think this was the case?
