This beautiful poem by Melanie Woodruff, that I can't reproduce here, only the link, is something I came across I-don't-know-how, on the web. The website is "Surviving Fibromyalgia" and the url for the poem is:

http://survivefibromyalgia.blogspot.com/2011/01/no-more-strength-by-melanie-woodruff.html

The first two lines go thus:

"I'm so tired of fighting this every day
This pain is too much to endure"

The last two lines are:
"The darkness clears, I see you there
And although the pain remains, I'm not alone."

The whole poem describes the experience of being a member of Sjögren's World. The artistry is not only in the words but also in the chiastic structure, so plain you don't even need to know what "chiastic structure" is.

I hope you will enjoy it; and it's great to be back.
