Here is an interesting site....TV pictures of an eagles nest in real time......you can see the nest 24 hours a day by clicking on the site.

There are 3 eggs in the nest and the first is supposed to hatch around March 22...either the Mom or Dad  eagle will be on the nest at all times keeping the eggs warm.

I just found out today that my 10 year old daughter's class has been watching her every day for weeks.  We are watching her now!  So exciting!!!!

You know we've had this on the computer ever since I posted last week??? :o  We just can't stop watching!  The computer is in the living room/kitchen (it's one big open room) and the whole family watches it.  We all holler to each other "SHE'S UP!!!" every time the mom or dad gets up, then we all come running to breathlessly watch for movement of the eggs  :P!  Anxiously awaiting the hatching.  So thankful these people stream this stuff.  It's an amazing intimate glimpse into their private world.  'Amazing' is all I can think of right now.

It looks like one of the eggs has holes poked in the top.  Maybe one of the eaglets is about to be born!

Now it appears that one is halfway out of the egg and the mom or dad keeps pushing it back down and laying on it.  I think I saw a beak!

Decorah, Iowa.  I think they keep the exact location a secret but it's somewhere in Decorah, Iowa.  If you scroll down below the video, they could you some information about the eagles.

She was just feeding one of them but she covered them back up again.  Yes, the wind looks terrible.

The third egg pipped!!!!  I was so afraid it was a dud.  I'm so happy you'd think they were my own eggs!!  The one eaglet keeps pecking the other one.  I hope they're just playing and not really fighting.  It's so breath taking to watch the parents feed them and hear them cry for food.  So amazing  :)
