A few of us are in Tn. I am in East Tn , and we are suppose to get the worst part today. I am praying. Everyone else in the target areas please be safe.

I'm in west TN.. It's 72 here and partly sunny but it is so windy it's blowing small limbs from trees.. But it looks like the storms might miss us..

I'll be praying for everyone in the storms path.. Stay safe..

To those in the direct path of today's storms . . . be prepared.  Make sure you have your medicines and such somewhere where you can grab them if you need to seek shelter.

Keep a watch on the weather.  They say this is going to be a slow moving storm which means once it's in the area, it is not going to move on quickly - so be prepared.  Have flashlights, lanterns, radio, etc. ready.  Charge up your cell phones ahead of time.

Draw some water up too - just in case.

Be safe and take shelter should the need arise.

I will definitely be praying hard for you today.  I know first hand how bad storms can be.  Our house was destroyed in the May 3, 1999 tornado.  Watch the weather closely and have a plan where you need to go to stay safe.
Primary SJS, dRTA, Osteroporis, OAB, stage 3 kidney disease, hypothyroid and high blood pressure.  Medicine I take are plaquenil, bicarb, prolia, synthroid, toprol and amolipine, citracal and vitamin D.  I use Arex and Azasite and Prolia.  I also have Reynaud's and osteoarthris of the toes

I am so glad you are ok!  I've been checking back often to see if you had posted or not.  Many P's and PT's (prayers and positive thoughts) until the storm is gone for good!

Thank you everyone, we are breathing a sigh of relief now. It's still stormy out, but not the danger at this time as it was before. I continue to pray for others in its path.

Susanep - keep a watch on the weather throughout the afternoon and evening tonight as more storms are coming your way.

Your weather is quite warm for this time of year - which is helping to spawn these storms as it collides with the colder Northern air.

I'm in Central Illinois and we've had rain and some snow flakes today - it's this evening when the big weather system is suppose to come our way (although, it may stay South of me).

Thinking of you all and praying for your safety.

Thanks all. MissyLouWho thanks for checking in. That means a lot to me. Bucky you are correct, I can already hear more thunder now, and the wind has picked back up. Nashville right now is having a hard time.

The weather is now saying It's in Fentress county coming toward Scott county (severe thunderstorm warning) We live in Scott county.

I keep going from the boards to doing something in the house just to keep my mind and stress busy. lol...
