Just curious as to whether you are wearing a mask when you are out in the garden. It really helps to avoid the dust/mold and whatever the soil holds that isn't good for those of us with lung issues.

I buy those masks in the 6 packs and keep them on hand. Have done so for over 30 years---long before I knew the significance of not feeling good. Good luck in the garden. Irish ;D

gold, I have been in the Mestinon since I was diagnosed with MG in 2006. I use it every day. My neuro wants me to use it twice a day even if I don't think I need it. She wants me to always have some "on board" so that I have some in my system in case I get hit with a weak spell.

Also, I have not taken any Cellcept, Imuran, etc because I have severe t-cell deficiency and very high risk of infections. My immunologist is to the point that he is wondering if very low dose of Imuran would help my autoimmune diseases without decreasing my blood count too much. This is going to be something that I will find hard to decide.

I have been on Plaquenil and that has increased my energy and decreased the swelling in my nose and throat area. Irish

On your question about masks, Irish:

No, I don't wear a mask when gardening. But I'm getting much more careful about wearing clean garden gloves all the time. I have numerous pairs and wash them each time I use them, also washing my hands and cleaning the garden tools.
