Ok so I went to the Rhume today (hopefully the last time for this one) and she's a real Fibro lover...grrr! So she starts blaming all my neuropathy, joint pain, muscle pain toothaches you name it on the FIBRO! So I asked her why are you rolling all of this up into the Fibro box, Sjogren's has some of these if not all of these issues also. So she say's that when you have both Sjogren's and Fibro that all the symptom's are from the Fribo not the Sjogren's and we treat it with Cymbalta. (But she is treating the Sjs with Plaquenil). I just looked at her like you are nutso!!!!

So what are all of you good people thinking about this???? I for one think she's been hitting the med cabinet a little to often.

Mary, remember that your poor doctor only received 1/2 credit hour on pain/pain management when in medical school. There are few that specialized in pain management. They are taught that your pain can not be as bad as mine.

My rheumy mentioned something about fibro, but we haven't talked about it much. We've always blamed all my joint pain, muscle pain, fatigue, etc. on the SjS.

BTW, I tried Cymbalta and it gave me such horrid dry mouth I couldn't eat a thing...I struggled with chicken noodle soup  :o Wouldn't it be nice though if there were just one pill we could take that would make all of our symptoms go away?

Joe this is so true...but why even tell me I have Sjogren's in the first place! One week I have this the next week I have that! But to say that Fibro will over take Sjs symptoms is just wacked I'm sorry.

Today I saw my new Pulmonary Dr at Hopkin's and he just laughed and said "We will get you a new Rhume here fast" and then ordered 10 tests to make my head spin.. LMAO. Anita are you listening???? ;D
