im new, and trying to get a diagnosis

Hi,

Im from the Uk,( England ) and Im in the process of trying to get a diagnosis. Without going into too much detail coz it would take a while !! Ive had lotsa health probs for the best part of 26 yrs.

I went to my Dr/Gp a couple of months back, my new Dr/Gp coz id moved, and i went through my various symptoms and he was the one who suggested I might have Sjogrens and possibly Fibromyalgia. I went to get the results today, id had general tests, and one particually for Sjogrens, this came bk negative, but i realise that not everyone who has sjogrens has a positive result. He said that I have fibromyalgia, and he wasn't sure abt sjogrens. Basically he's left it at that. It made me disappointed, because since I found out abt Sjs, i feel everything suddenly makes sense.. fits ! I do fit lots of the sjs symptoms and they have been slowly getting worse over the past yr or so, and im getting very fed up with it.

Reading all your experiences has really made me feel im not alone, and that there's so much advice and support , it's amazing.
