I've heard some Buble around lately and some vintage rock n roll stuff...

I'd love some additional ideas!!!!!!!

I get tired of Christmas music pretty fast after a few days. Sorry Folks!  :-X

But I do like the funny ones. I just heard one on the country station. Don't know the name of the song but: folks came he didn't know how he was related to for Christmas, they plugged in their RV to the house and blew a fuse. LOL  ;D

There are the funny stories too like the Rednecked Christmas.  No I am not prejudice - I will laugh at anyone.  ;D  Real people are real characters.

OMG, I cannot STAND the song "Carol of the Bells." It's simply the most annoying song on Earth.

BAH-bah-bah-bah; BAH-bah-bah-bah; BAH-bah-bah-bah; BAH-bah-bah-bah!!!!!

Louder and louder until I want to jump out the window!  AAArrrggghhh!

So of course my 14-year-old granddaughter is too funny and actually found a Christmas card for me that plays that song when you open it up!

Now, how can I help but love that song!   :D

Oh heavens I didn't just mean holiday music...

My friend did send me some funny humorous songs about Christmas... One sounded like Noel Coward... they were all sassy!

Did anyone get non-holiday music as a gift?

Pisces24 - I think the song you're thinking of is "Merry Christmas from the Family".  YouTube has a version by Robert Earl Keene.  (Dixie Chicks also recorded it).  It's one of my fave Christmas songs - sounds more like a real family!!

Oh my, I'm all about the "old time vintage" rock & roll!  Like Joe, I have more than a thousand tunes as I must have them handy all the time as I never know when I'll need the "pick me up"! :D  Can't open up a car door without a few CDs falling out! ;D  Sometimes though it's a simple song like "What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor" that will bring on a smile.

Take care -

If I'm upset or depressed, I put on GreenDay's Holiday.  It's anti everything and gets me in the fighting mood to pick myself up and dust my fat keister off and get going.

I really like Sarit Hadad too.  She has a very relaxing and powerful voice.

But my original choices are still my favs.   :)
