Painful/weak leg muscles

Thank you for all your comments - it seems a pretty common problem.

Genko, I've been doing physio and strengthening exercizes with the physio since August, as well as balance work. I really think it was helping, but then the burning pain started, just as I was being discharged. For other reasons, I've not felt well enough to do the physio at home for the last couple of weeks, but once I get this burning sorted out, I definitely will get back to it.

Thank you for your input about statins a66ey. My husband had the same thing happen. I don't take statins, but do have my suspicion about the BP meds. They have helped me more than the previous ones, but I can't put up with the muscle burning. I'll go for the doppler, as I have Raynauds and not very good circulation in my feet. If the doppler comes back fine, I'll have to try lowering the BP meds.
