Scratchy eye, with the humidifier AND clean furnace filters.

Dang,

I'm typing this with one eye closed.

I woke up this morning with my usual gritty eyes, but the left one was bright red, just a slit, and is still scratchy 3 hours later.

Doesn't look infected, wondering if it is a corneal abrasion.

I'm seeing  my new rheumy today, then baby sitting the grands AND bringing them home for and over night.

I do NOT have time for this.

sigh

WHY is it always something?  Does that fall into the why me? category.  Yep

I wore eye  make up twice this past weekend (well my eyes have gotten so tiny they seem to be disappearing especially behind my glasses) so that is probably where I scratched my cornea or whatever.

Ack, my 'vanity goeth before an eye problem" I guess.

I hope your rheumy had some ideas for your poor eye. 

Are you familiar with Gilda Radnor's character on SNL years ago?  Rosanne Rosannadanna? She'd always end with "It's ALWAYS someting"     Sometimes that's the way we feel, too.

Good news, the scratchy eye stopped scratching on the way to the neurologist!

Whatever it was, it isn't any more.

I want more endings like that!
