Help on avatar pic

I have been trying to change my avatar.  Actually the one I have was borrowed from another member.l

I now have a small face pic or two on facebook and I am wondering on how to transfer one to my avatar here.  I tried to do it a couple of different ways and it didn't work.  Ugh.

Profile > Modify profile > Button to use avatar from link>insert link On top of form, from facebook and save.

Hey Joe can you use one from your pictures library or is it just from a website if so how do you do it?

Thanks Joe for your response, but I still don't have it.  I also want to ask if we can use one from our pictures on our hard drive instead of what I suggested (FB).

Maybe a little more instructions.  I couldn't get where to put the pictures site on Sjogrens profine page.  Help.

It has been a long time since I have done this. I know that you have to have your pic on line. Photo bucket and facebook are two examples. I will try this again.

Profile > Modify profile / Form profile > (Specify avatar by URL) button. On the right hand side is the box for your link

I facebook go to your wall > right click on the image that you want > select "copy as link"

Back to the forum and paste the link in the box on the right hand side.

This is not working for me either.
