Every football and hockey season, which just so happens to coincide, my hubby becomes a sports widower (forgive the term).  Weekends are for colllege football and maybe our local pro team but mainly college.  Three nights a week is hockey.  Katie-bar-the-door if he gets between me and the t.v.

Who's your favorite sports team?

I love my Ohio State Buckeye! And the Browns, I do love my football ;D

I'm not a sports fan - but, if I had to choose, I'd go with Ohio State Buckeyes and the Browns too since I'm a former Ohioan.   ;D  (Oh, and the Cleveland Indians for baseball.)

PENGUINS RULE!!  My favorite players are Dupuis and Brent Johnson.  A goalie who can give a single left hook and have the guy go down is awesome!  I'm a pretty passive person until it comes to hockey.  No raging brawls but the occasional scrap or two will do.

Football season is upon us!   ;D  I'm a fan, but not NEARLY the fan my husband is.  He has what I call "his command center" set up.

Big-screen TV in living room, that he can see from our dining room/kitchen area where the computer is, and a smaller TV across from the computer desk.   This way, he can watch 2 games (or more) and check scores online at the same time.  :P  Saturdays are for college ball and Sundays for NFL.

We always joke every year at the end of summer if there's any house chores like painting, etc. to be done before winter, it needs to be done before football season or he won't be involved until after the Super Bowl!  8)

Count me in!

I am a sports fanatic!  We live in Indiana, so my favorites include the Colts (I know, we are having an "off season" this year), Indiana University are my football and basketball teams for colleges, my daughter and I follow figure skating and we LOVE gymnastics, and then there is our absolute favorite sport - HOCKEY!  I love my Detroit Red Wings and our local pro team, the Komets!  We went to our first hockey game last weekend!  We also watch the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears!

Sigh...sports, take me away!

Thanks,

Mickey Mate

there doing pretty good without Malkin and Crosby right now,, I cant remember the guy but Ashem laid that one out last week,, I cannot rememebr his name right now,, but there playing pretty good hockey right now,, Johnson is a nice guy to have on the bench behind Flower, (Fleury), saturdays game was a example,, tight game through two periods then they just dominated

Most of our home teams have learned very well how to steal defeat from the jaws of victory. Our Lynx have been the one shining light and inspiration to all the young girls in our state.

I do not like sports on TV. I do not like the competitive culture that it promotes. I believe that cooperation is the best way to success.
