Bridesmaids. OMFG it was hilarious. (Warning: crude SNL-type humour and one crazy scene at the end. Do not watch with kids!)

"Go to a fight club?"

"No, we ARE the fight club."

That movie was hilarious!

Not a movie, but my daughter's fiance was in a play last weekend called "Terminator the Second." It's a re-telling of Terminator-2 using lines from Shakespeare. I laughed so hard! The guy who played the terminator affected an Austrian accent like Ahh-nuld.

Toward the end of the show there was an explosion and they had confetti blast out of some kind of confetti cannon. When I got home, I had confetti inside my bra.

A night to remember!    8)

That sounds awesome!!

It was! It was very entertaining and really a whole lot better than I'd anticipated.  Hopefully, the production won't end with the final curtain in Nashville....

My hubby and I rented off comcast the other night.  A movie called Melancholia with Kirsten Dunst, Kieffer Sutherland, and the guy off True Blood (Eric, which, by the way, ROCKS!!!).  That was beyond words, the most BIZARRE movie I've ever wasted money on.

Then you've never seen Joe Pesci's "8 Heads in a Duffel Bag."

Never heard of it.  I'm tempted but in response to Melancholia, I ain't so sure.

I've not seen Melancholia, but it might be worth watching when it comes to daytime TV (I'm too cheap! ;)).

I did see 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag and I laughed a lot (also laughed at certain parts of The Exorcist; what can I say, I have a strange sense of humor when it comes to some movies).

I had a new experience in movies.  There is a place called The Alamo Draft House.   While you watch the movie they have waiters to serve you food...real restaurant food.  Each row of seats has a long table in front of it (full length of row), then a step down and a walk area for the waiters so they don't block your view when delivering your food.  It's a full size theater but with walk rows and table it only holds about 1/3 the people.

It's the greatest twist on dinner & a movie.  The prices for both movie and food are very reasonable (although the popcorn and candy are still steep IMO)...and the food is great.  They also have wine tasting events, horror night, PJ parties for kids movies (with bottomless cereal served).  Just lots of fun.  We saw Ides of March here and had a great time.

I've heard of that place Anita!  I'm told that it's a pretty neat place to go to see a movie!  The next time that I'm in the area I must stop there, it sounds like a lot of fun! :D

Isn't this also the place where that one gal who was texting while the movie was showing was thrown out of the theater, then called up and left that rambling/vulgar message?  I thought it was funny that the theater used it as an advertisement to not text while the movie is playing!  ;D

Yes Patze. You're right about the texting.  They take talking and texting quite serious and give you the boot.  The ad about texting was pretty good.
