Yum . . . it all sounds so good . . . I'll be right over!   ;D

I was flipping through that new cookbook today and this sounded pretty good:

Apple Coleslaw  (my family won't eat it, but it sounds good)

2 Cups Cabbage (shredded)
2 Medium Apples (cored, diced)
1 Can (16 oz.) Crushed Pineapple (drained)
3/4 Cup Fat Free Mayonnaise

Combine above ingredients, cover and refrigerate 1 hour or more before serving.  8 Servings.

Serving Size:  3/4 cup
Calories:  60

Come sit a spell and join in live chat - we serve non-fattening, zero calorie goodies while discussing all kinds of things.  ;D

Oh my Bucky, that sounds SOOOO good!  Hummm, need to find something else to use other than pineapple as it kills my EOE.  Wonder of if I can substitute grapes or something similar?

Hey Carebear, wanna pass that recipe on to me?  Pretty please? :D ;D  Or adopt me?  I'm pretty flexible! ;) :)

Bucky,

The coleslaw sounds great.  My MIL made one similar a few weeks ago; it was different but really good.

And no pineapple, Patze.  8)

1 small bag cabbage/coleslaw mix
1 diced large apple
1 cup golden raisins
2 teaspoons sliced green onions
1 cup of jarred coleslaw dressing  (jarred, is that right? Sounds like it was startled)  ;D

Carebear

Patze,

Thanks!  I didn't have a recipe so I just made it up.  The filling was cherries with their juice, sugar, almond flavouring, and a little corn starch.

Adopt you, eh... ;D ;D ;D

Oh my....you are all making me so hungry! Between working late and different schedules...I'm one who usually runs home and has something very simple...sandwich...cereal...left overs from the weekend...or something I picked up on my way home!

I know...not good!

Patze

Goodness Meld, that sounds wonderful!  Need to put the ingredients on my shopping list for this weekend!

Now Lynnmarie, got to get you to eat better (its starting to sound like what I do at night! ;) :D).
