What a wonderful way of remembrance for your father.  St. Jude's does wonderful work.  ;)

I, too, had explored the idea of the "ugly quilts" after finding the website a while ago.  Maybe you've spurred me on to get going with it.  It's a great idea I would have never thought of myself.  ;)

Anyone else work with double sided crochet hooks?  Yeah, bought some and looking for some easy instructions.

Instructions:  crochet with one hook end, then . . . turn the hook around and crochet with the other end!   ;D  How's that Patze?!?   ;)
