Another newbie

Hello.  I'm new to forums, and may have posted to the wrong place.  I put my inquiry on the Discussion Board.  What's the difference, please??  Thanks!

Thanks, Cricket.  I'm 55, on disability, and just hanging in there.  I used to have an exciting job as an instructional designer in the banking industry.  Now I stay at home a lot.  Sometimes I feel really good, and would love to be back in the work world (usually lasts a few hours:).  Then I have a bad day mentally, or get really tired, and know I can't do it.  I love God and pray that he'll show me what I need to do each day.  Married, three wonderful children, and four awesome grandchildren.  Now, how do I find out about ya'll (yes, I'm a southerner)?

There is lots of information here and some friendly people.  I'm also 55 and been on SS disability since Dec. 2010.  I'm married and have 3 grown children. 
Glad to hear you have some really good days.  Those are the ones to savor!

Well, finding out about us. Lots of us have an introduction, or reading through past posts can give you lots of info. on us.  You might like the chat room.  Put "chat" in the search bar and you'll get a list of schedules and how to join them. Better yet, click on the link at the end of Patze's post to find chats.
If you have anything you want to bring up, just start a new topic in either the social board or discussion board (for medical-related posts).  We look forward to hearing more from you!
