Dear Sjogren's Angels:

Back from the BIG TRIP.   All went well.

Since I don't feel a lot better at home, I might as well be somewhere more interesting, once in a while.

However, I rather imagine this may be one of the last big trips I'll do.  Mostly because money is running out, with the market tanking on a daily basis.

One of the hardest parts of being home is that my husband makes me crazier here than away!

Sigh

One more year and we'll be married 50 years.

In the news today was the research that married people live longer than single people.

Or does it just SEEM longer?

sigh

This is a character defect that I must work on.  I am NOT GOING TO CHANGE HIM.

I MUST 'let him whirl' and detach.

Easy to say, so hard to do.

:-)

Well, I'll just get lots of practice I guess.

Wish it 'made me perfect".

Glad to see friends old and new here.

Love and kisses and hugs

Elaine

Welcome back! Cuba is one place we'd love to go sometime.

In February my husband and I went to Vietnam and Cambodia, and we had such a good time that the group held a reunion yesterday! We had a great time renewing friendships and planning the next reunion, and the next trip!

Take care,

Genko

Welcome back, Elaine!  ;)

Well, yes, I'm fairly sure your husband will not change after this long. I don't believe it to be your character flaw at all.  I know it's difficult to learn to not allow someone to "push our buttons."
My thoughts are with you... :)

Welcome home and congratulation on lasting 49.

The old joke:
He: We have been happily married for 5 years
She: We have been married for 10!

Jan and I have 39 years. Spending three months together this summer was nice.
