Even my hubby laughed out loud at these. Kinda nice to know he "gets" it. I think I'll keep him!

Patty, good for your hubby!  ;)

These really are funny, bloodless.  Thanks so much for sharing them.  :D ;D

That was great!!!  I seriously laughed out loud!  :)  I have actually thanked nurses who are able to get a good vein the first time- plus the whole no energy for a shower thing.  I soooo enjoyed that, thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I needed a laugh!
Weird things happen to me and my husband asks, "is that part of Sjogrens?"

Danielle28,
I know exactly what you mean! One of my doc's nurses broke out in sweat trying to get a vein. She finally went and got help. She still kids me about it. Now she asks the doc when she sees me "She doesn't need blood drawn does she?"

I always warn the person drawing blood that my veins roll. You gots to be quick to sneak up on 'em!
I miss the good old days. Things were more like they used to be back then.

Sjogrens, Lupus, Fibro, GERD

My veins nose dive when the nurse tries to find them. They are scared from so many donations over the years.

I had blood work done yesterday and thankfully it went well-  but I joked with the tech... I said 'You know some people make me feel like they think I'm making this up...  'cause I just LOVE being a pin cushion and poked and prodded all the time!" she started laughing, and said "You just like coming to see me right?"

It's kind of sad when the lab people start to know you lol... at least it improves the experience of having to go there.

I had my husband read the Spoon Theory yesterday, didn't realize that he hadn't.  It was like a cloud was lifted, suddenly he was asking me "Do you have enough spoons? Are you sure?" It was great.  Seemed like it really clicked for him.

Okay

Friend:  But you don't look sick!

Me:  And YOU don't look stupid.   Looks can be deceiving.

I got that one from the humor site.  It is hysterical!

Thanks
