A couple of years ago, I saw someone at the Baylor School of Dentistry in Dallas. I cannot recall her name, but she taught there and I believe she specializes in Sjogren's, but I am not sure. All I can remember is that she was from the Middle East and spoke of a Baylor program studying Sjogren's. I know she has written articles that were presented in several medical journals.

Are any of you familiar with this program, or do you know if it has actually been started? She wanted me to get all of my records and get into this program, but I would have had to change all of my doctors and at the time the Baylor Hospital was not on our insurance.

Thank you,
scarlett6 (Cathie)

I believe that is the same Doctor in the Dental School who did my biopsy to confirm SJS.  Dr. Al-Hashimi.  She is really into Sjogren's.  she works closely with Rheumatologist Dr. Dianne Petronne with Arthritis Center of Texas at Baylor.

Both are excellent.
