Congrats on the new furry grandbaby.  I too love them just as much as the human kind. 

I hope the Pap side of this duo breed comes to be.  We had a King Charles Cavalier for a while and he was a hand full.  We finally had to get him a new home because we just couldn't put up with his running off all the time.  He was quite a Hondini when he came to getting out of the fence.  A friend of ours took him to live with them on a farm and he was happy as lark.  So I didn't feel to bad about letting him go. 

Now of course we have our 2 Australian Shepherds.  The girls are such good pups.  Training them was a snap.  They are as smart as whip and most of the time out smart us.  Sometimes I could swear they are smiling at us like, "Wouldn't you just like to know what we are up too."   But I love them dearly.
