It's that time of year again and I wish everyone a Happy 4th of July.

These are some words that I think of for the month of July.

Hot, ice cream, parades, fireworks, barbecue and grillouts, colors (red, white, and blue), flag, vacation, beach, swimming pool, swimsuit, sandles, sunglasses, children playing, flowers, gardens

Anyone else have anything to add?

I'm a little brain-foggy today, and can't think of anything to add to your list at the moment.  But I think you've done a great job with your words for July.  ;)

Thank you. And happy Dominion Day. (I know the name has been changed but I am an old foggy) I figured that by marrying my wife on Dominion Day, I would remember our anniversary.

Hi Joe,

Yes, Dominion Day has changed to Canada Day.  Have a happy anniversary on Friday. ;)

Happy anniversary Joe S. My husband and I were married on the 4th of July so we enjoy the parades, fireworks, and all the celebrations.

more words:  picnics, fishing, camping, suntan, school is out, strawberry wine freeze, freedom, summertime, baseball, ice cold drinks,

Hi  :)

I was talking to my son and DIL tonight over a videolink and looking at my grandson. My hubby asked my son how he was going to explain the 4th of July to his son. our son thought about it and said "Well I guess I'll tell him that's when one set of your ancestors fought another set of your ancestors - that should do it!"

Your son's explanation would be true in many cases, I think.  ;D  I'm sure you enjoyed talking with them and seeing that handsome grandson. Hope you had a good weekend!
