I treated myself to a pedicure today.  Nothing fancy, but what a nice thing to do for myself.  I think I'll try to do this monthly!  ;D

Oh,my goodness! All those foods sounded so good. NObody mentioned pizza though. That is just a treat to me as with celiac hubby I don't make it at home much.

I am a type 2 diabetic and am going through a terrible time with my snacking. I love Raspberry zinger tea. Really good hot and I bet it would be good cold also. I love instant Folger coffee decaf and have about 3-4 a day.

A Blizzard is a real treat and sometimes on Sunday evening hubby wll drive to town and get one for each of us. I have to have the small one though, darn.

Today I really pigged out and had ice cream with peanuts, strawberries and chocolate sauce. My blood sugar didn't go too high as I had been ourside weeding for awhile. Ordinally we I grab a few M&M's to satisfy my sweet tooth.Right now I am so hungry for something and the woman at this house sure doesn't bake much escept for gluten free cake.

So many things to eat and so little time. ::) ::) Irish ;D

After taking Jan in for surgery on Monday I went to Perkins for breakfast. I ordered their strawberry cream cheese stuffed french toast covered with strawberries in a glaze. It was soo good I could have made a meal of just that but it came with bacon, eggs, and hash browns. It kept me full until supper.

Joe,

That's funny...I just wrote on another post I hoped you weren't eating pot roast ALL week.  Sounds like you had a big and tasty breakfast treat Monday.  Good for you!

Jan's surgery gave her SI problems. Today was the first that it was addressed.

I just had one of those frozen ice pops. It does help to cool a body down in this heat.

Joe, what does SI stand for?   Is Jan's pain letting up?  Just wondering... Joy

Joe S.

Jan's pain has not changed a lot yet. She called her twin last night and as her to send me the information on how to adjust her SI (Sacro joint). I believe it relates to S1 from the time that I was used for 1 on some typewriters. I will see if I can decipher her instructions and help Jan.
