hi-its been a long time,alot has changed ang i need lots of serious help!

hi everyone,i am 40 now and have been diagnosed(officially)since 98 with symptoms going back farther along with fibromyalgia and cervical spine and lumbar spine/disc problems.THings have gotten to the accumulation in the last 2+years,when i 'couldnt take it" anymore and more or less broke down physically,and emotionally with added depression,anxiety and panic disorder.whoopie:-).I have a pain management clinic doctor helping me now for the last few months,as my primary care doc didnt know what to do with me anymore.lol My former Rheumatologist and his staff,while skilled,where a bunch of cold fish and i stopped seeking treatment from them.My main problem now is i have applied for ssdi,with all legitimate,documented qualifying illnesses,yey of course denied first try,and secon thru a lawyer.now wee wait for the judge interview/court date.It is taking sooo long, we are going broke,lost alot already,even though my husband works,and my parents are tapping out everything they've got to keep me,husband and daughter going until ssdi comes thru.I am so angry and scared,they drag so slowly,to permit me what is mine in the first place-money earned,taken by the gov from my earnings all those years.now i depend on getting it back now and i feel i am getting screwed waiting so long while me and my family suffer.The stress sure makes the fibro and sogrens flare up too.meanwhile,im SO afraid the issues and illnesses related to the sjogrens arent being noted and documented in my charts.HOW DO I MAKE SURE THAT WHEN I GET TO THAT COURT DATE AND SEE THE JUDGE,THAT EVERYTHING IS SOLID AND BEFORE HIM SO I AM RIGHTFULLY APPROVED???i dont know whats gonna get me first,my mind or my body

I'm sure you're hear from people here who know lots more about SSDI than I do.

It would help me read your posts if you separated the sentences.   Very 'dense' paragraphs are hard to read.

And if you can, please add some information to your signature line, so I know a bit about your history, which will show up every time you post.

I know the anxiety and waiting makes everything worse, so I'm sending waves and love and calmness to you.

I'm sorry...I don't know a lot about applying for SSDI either but I know that others here do and hopefully they will be a long soon to help out with some of your questions.

I do understand when you say that the emotional and financial stress causes you to feel worse...it can be a vicious circle but it's still important to try to take good care of yourself and extra important to do so during stressful times.

hi, sorry Elaine about the dense paragraphs.   It was my first post,and honestly I was on a rant a little bit.lol    The Signature line...I'm going to try to figure that one out too.    Thanks for your encouragement too     right now i can only figure out how to fix it by adding spaces between sentences with the space bar?   is there another way I missed?   maybe i forgot to look at some intro information

Sunnybunny, You're on the right track about double spacing between paragraphs. There is also a character limit to posts.

Something I often do is type as you did and then go back and separate my post into paragraphs by double spacing.

One can do it in word document and them copy and paste in the post area.

You might ask your lawyer to view papers that are going to be used at judge's appt.  I did mine on my own and got it first time at age 52.

Low vision impairment, back issues, and depression from being in a rural area and it was missed for many years and my local school system personnel director wrote a letter about my job description and my need to constantly be able to use the computer.

Went to John Hopkins a long way from home and got a diagnosis of Sjogren's from JH Optomology Dept. with love vision impairment.  I consider myself very lucky to gotten it the first time.
