Tease is so rough with the filly.  It looks like the little one is trying to nurse, but Tease will have no part of it.

A couple of times Tease almost rolled on the filly.

Will they have a 24 hr. watch tonight to make sure Tease doesn't hurt the filly?

I think she tried to kick her once too...She must still be in pain, poor girl.  She seems better with the filly when she is lying down.  Poor baby is hungry though.

Is it possible that Tease is pregnant with twins and the other one just hasn't been born yet?  She's still licking her belly like she did before.

I'm glad to see the filly up and moving - she was laying down there for a while just after being born and wasn't moving much.

Tease is up and down an awful lot and moving around a lot.

I want to watch awhile, but have to be up early tomorrow.  I hope Tease and filly are OK.  will check on them in the AM.  I see Kay is back in there with them now.

Twins are possible with mares but I guess they are exceedingly rare. As a human nurse (ob never being my speciality admittedly) I worried about part of the placenta being retained and internal bleeding.

Rusty shut the cam off as planned for a bit.  filly did get some more...colostrum?

Little one is tuckered out  . . . laying down.  I hope Tease doesn't step on her!   :o

Tease is back to being Tease . . . meaning, EATING!!   :D

It might be a l-o-n-g night at Baxters Painted Pasture.  Good job Baxters - hope things for well overnight.

She is the prettiest sweetest little filly. I am so in love. My heart breaks for Tease. I so hope she gets past this.

I do wonder if the hard birth has some to do with it. I have never seen a head stuck so badly.
