Has anyone noticed how the foal at Silver Creek Farms http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=silvercreek seems to be having trouble walking?  I am sure there are variations in how quickly the are able to walk steadily, but this little one seems to be having more trouble than the others I have seen....Might be the physical therapist in me noticing how they all move.  I hope it is OK and will work out whatever is going on.

Fancy Pants at M & M had her foal within the last three hours evidently...didn't go to a high alert so I didn't catch it.

Giving a cheer here for Nancy and  her great profession!

From Kay about an hour ago:

I am still hanging in there but still not feeling great. This is the flu without end. I was feeling better for a few hours yesterday and then bam was laid low again and back in bed. This dang cough is going to do me in.

No big changes with Tease but I havent checked her yet this morning. Poor Russ is having to do everything

[Tease is out so she has been checked already now this a.m. evidently].

These are two low alerts that are continuing:

http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=twinlgtsbarrett (not a great quality cam)

http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=dreamscape (this is a better cam nut I don't see where she is/could be hiding---Not like our Tease who really CAN get herself invisible in a corner!   ;D)

It doesn't seem right to leave a low alert on if mare isn't in the stall.  In my opinion, how do they then expect more vigilant eyes to be on their mares when they ARE back in and maybe close??  Maybe the owners are just overwhelming tired and forgot to change it though.

On a somewhat related topic---as anyone read this Marestare thread?  I read some of the first posts and it's very good regarding not to hesitate to call an owner if we think we see something happening with their mare starting to foal perhaps.

"Topic: Calls to Cam Owners.....Viewers and Owners please read this."

Beauty at Dreamscape is back in her stall.  What does she do out there to unwrap her tail each time she's out?? ;D

Willows foal at Silver Creek now has both front legs wrapped (casted?)  Hopefully that will do the trick.  Made me want to go out there and do Physical Therapy on the poor little thing!  Maybe I could do that as an alternate career, but I bet it is just as physical if not more than what I am already doing!

Now to go check on Tease again!

Tease is back on cam again, she is HUGE!  Maybe she is having twins???  Poor thing looks miserable, hope she foals soon!

This is SO not fair!!  I was planning on going to bed since it is 12:51 a.m. (Central Time) - but watching Tease and she keeps licking her belly and whining - could she be having contractions?

She was laying down a little bit ago and seemed to be breathing heavy.  I don't blame her - she's about ready to pop and I'm sure is very uncomfortable!!

Could tonight "possibly" be the night?!?  Maybe . . . if so, I hope it's soon so I can go to bed!!   ;)

Good Luck Tease!

There's a spot on the camera in the lower right hand side - it's driving me nuts!!   :o

I'm only going to watch for another 10 minutes, than I have to go to bed.  Right now, Tease is just standing there shifting her weight back and forth.

Tease is still with foal inside!!!

She is also inside her stall because of rain.

Kay write not quite two hours ago:

Good Morning all!

I am feeling a bit more like myself today even if I cant hear.

We are having another huge storm right now so cam is in and out. Just what we need - more rain NOT.

Russ is on his way to feed and I meant to remind him to knock that web off ugh.

[That was as in spiders web.  At one point last night I gues that sider was directly on cam taking up about the whole center!  ;D
