Here are a few notes from Kay starting early A.M.:

good morning! I am late to feed as I cant seem to wake up. Russ and I took turns last night and then I took a pain pill as my knee was acting up (probably because of the rain) and now I cannot get this fog out of my head.

She is very itchy which is a good sign!

Tease was due April 25th but its always just an estimate. Most minis/ponies foal around day 330-335. Tease I think is now 345 days? ughh Gypsy was due May 11th

Tease is out being mean to the other horses. I am happy to say though her udder is finally filling up! What a relief. Still not what it should be but I am happy to see it getting fuller

Its still muddy and rainy but she has to get out of that stall. She was really wanting out. If it gets too bad I will put her back in.

She is digging a huge hole in the center just like her momma flirt used to do. Her udder does finally look bigger today but still not tight so I suspect we have some days to go.

Local time at All Star Farm Gypsy Vanners & Miniature Horses:
Wed May 18 2011 : 2:23:55 pm is when this colt was born.

I guess two people from my other forum (a quilting one, non-horse peeps just like us)  called the owners and let them know about the foaling starting---they were twenty minutes away from the farm and SO grateful for the calls---we CAN make a difference!  Yeah fellow MareStarers!!
