Tease dear . . you DID NOT deliver like I predicted.   ::)  You're backed into the corner right now and all I can see is your head.  (It's funny how all the mares like to have their backside up against the wall of the stall - they've all done that.)  I think she's trying to sleep.

I hope when the time comes, that Tease won't have any problems with her delivery.  I'm sure the Baxter clan will all be there to help her.

Good Luck Tease!!

Cam is back on.
And tease is still chubby. She was laying down just a few minutes ago, and then got up. She is such a tease.

Night before last, I slept on my couch with my lap top on my automen. hoping not to miss the birth. Last nite I just went on to bed. I am Glad not to miss the birth. But sorry for Tease, she must me miserable.

I watched them check her twice yesterday at around 9:30am and around 5:00pm .
She might be putting her tail to the wall because, she does not like to have it lifted up, for the check. And the flash light check under her, she seems to take it personnel.

Wow.  Tease is wiggling her ears back and forth, looking agitated.  I guess I don't blame her.

Now she is lying down on her side, completely stretched out!  I've not seen her stretch all the way out like this before.  Maybe this is it?  Think I will watch for a bit.

Hey Kim!  I thought I sensed another pair of eyes in Teases stall!  It was you  ;D

Well she is up again and doesn't seem to be too concerned about foaling so guess I will go to bed.  She will probably have it as soon as I shut down my computer!

Here is some notes from Kay this evening (on the quilting board forum):

QuoteIt is cold and still raining here. I think its low 40's right now.

Tease seems pretty much the same *sighs*

I guess I will just have to hope I can hurry and do...[a] video in the morning and get it submitted before noon. Please stop the rain!

Heres a story that just published on Yahoo for mothers day

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/8025191/stories_of_miniature_horse_mothers.html?cat=53

They asked us to write something about animals and mothers day so that was the first thing to come to mind.

It was little Jack [that was lost for a bit last week]! Poor little guy was shaking like a leaf when I found him. Star was beside herself!

Dancer was the one that had a still born foal years ago. It so broke my heart as I felt like she was looking to me to fix it.

[Jack is] still a tiny thing! He was playing with shammy tonight and I was wishing I could video it but it of course was RAINING. Hes so little he makes Shammy look HUGE.

I am worried about everyones hooves. They do get what is called "thrush" which is an infection on the inside of the hoof. They can also get "scratches" another infection from too much water. We leave the barn open on one end so they can stand in a dry spot but they still have to go out into that mud and wetness. Yuck.

Also from Kay:

QuoteI dont think we will see any action out of Tease tonight.

I think since she is finally making an udder we will have to wait for it to fill up. But I will be watching off and on just in case. I dont trust maiden mares lol.

There is some talk that there might be action on this cam tonight:

QuoteFYI: Lakota, Pacific Pintos has waxed and has Rock hard udders and her eyes are at half mast. ! LOL
Not sure what time frame that means but she's close.

I might have to have two windows up on my screen. ;-)
