Awww - I hope and pray that the little one will make it.  She's got beautiful markings.

I've seen Bailey go over and sniff the little one.  I hope Bailey will become a serogate (sp?) mamma to the little one, if Tease can't take care of her.

Thank you Baxters for doing all you can to help the little one and Tease.  You're good people!

It's sad to see the little one laying there . . . you just want to scoop her up and hold her and rock her like you would a new baby.  Hang in there little one - we're all routing for you!

Olmphoto2 - thanks for keeping us updated.

Afew minutes ago from Kay...

She is eating really good so thats a good thing. I think I will let her go a bit longer between to encourage her to move around and play. Shes really perky when I am out there and then seems depressed when I leave.

That was Fran helping me as she had a foal they had to wean at 2 days old so shes really good at this.

Oh, ((((Kay))))  :'(

Posted a few minutes ago...

I am praying so hard and beyond upset. I just feel so bad for Tease and the filly and I pray I am making the right decisions.

We have recieved a not so nice voice mail, email and some questionable posts on forum

We may make the cam private only as I cannot take the stress of people questioning everything I am doing when they do not read the whole thread to see what we have already tried.

If we do I will give you all the password. [Note from Mary Ann...this refers to the quilting board.  I will ask for Kay's permission to pm password if it comes to this.  :'(]

Im a little thin skinned right now and trying to be patient with it all.

Its no one from here but its just too much when I am trying so hard to do right by this foal and tease. I would give anything if TEase would care for her

Mary Ann - please convey our support to Kay and Russ as we KNOW they are doing all they can to save the filly and to help Tease.  How sad that people can be so cruel and heartless to harass them at this time.

I've been trying to find a name for "our" filly.  There is a site that has "painted horse" names.  I liked the name Carisa - which is Spanish and means, very dear.  That's our little filly . . . very dear.  Hang in there little Carisa.

Hugs to Baxters Painted Pasture - we appreciate all you are doing.  We know you have Tease and the filly's best interest in mind.

Hugs,
Bucky

I posted this  a few minutes ago on my quilting board...

Oh, (((Kay and family)))   We love you all so much.  Please remember that we don't need a cam running to continue to hold you all close in our hearts and with our prayers.

Quote from: kaykayThank you all so much. You all are going to make me cry again. we are taking the cam private and I will post when I figure out how they do it. Dr muse and sally are coming around 430 just to be sure there is no way to get Tease back with Annie. I feel we have to be sure we have done all we can.

Baxters Endless Anticipation aka Annie

I so adore her I cant even tell you. She has so much personality and is so persistent even under these conditions

I also posted for this for Kay on the QB thread:

Something we want you to know also Kay:...

There are loving, caring, supportive people who are friends and family of those of us who do post here. They have also been following this beautiful but for now poignantly sad journey.  I speak here for them now and ask you to please feel this great love  and respect pouring out to you all from both close and far away.  We continue to hold you close in our prayers.

Kay has posted:

Tease is somewhat better. She is out on the pasture and that seems to have calmed her.

Cam just went down, either cam issues, vet arrival or maybe the end of the streaming.... :'( :-*

A Marestare moderator posted there on behalf of the Baxters:

"Just posting to let you all know that Tease's cam has gone private. Please do not contact the owner. She is seeking a second opinion and will bring up the cam as and when she can.

Thank you all very much for watching."

I'm not sure how long it will be before I have an update to give.  Kay and Russ are likely spending some extended time with Sally and the vet.  Also, I will be back and forth from the computer.  If anyone hears updates before I do, certainly go ahead and post here.   :)

So sad that this is happening to Tease and her filly and the Baxters.  It must just be breaking their hearts.  I will keep all of them in my prayers.  Mary Ann thanks for keeping us all updated.

I notice that Kay made a quick, short post about a half an hour ago (I myself will have to call it a night shortly but will leave my 'puter on, dear Sjogren friends...what a journey the past 24 hours has been, with tears of joy and sadness both---I'm so glad we journeyed together):

Kay says...

hi all

vet is running late and still hasnt made it. hoping hes on his way now
