Mornin' all! Holy Moly...she can still push herself into a corner. I saw Tease, went to start coffee, came back and NO TEASE...so I thought! But, yup, she was just in one of her two fav corners. Does she KNOW?! we can't see her in those two spots? ;)

The opening will release a torrent that could submerge about 3,000 square miles under as much as 25 feet of water in some areas but take the pressure off the downstream levees protecting New Orleans, Baton Rouge and the numerous oil refineries and chemical plants along the lower reaches of the Mississippi.

This flooding situation is just horrible. I know they blew up a levee somewhere else and it flooded farm ground (thank goodness)but I feel for the farmers.

My hay guy has a beautiful crop of hay that he cant cut due to the rain so it will have to be chopped up for cow feed. Im trying not to panic that we wont be able to get hay. Or the price will double like a few years ago.

Im trying to wake up enough to go feed. Tease will be until the storms pass.

Tease doesnt even want me to brush her. I swear she blames me because when Russ goes in she lets him brush her and pet her etc.

I will find something to throw if people keep saying memorial weekend. I was really hoping to do a horse show that weekend!

Tease, Tease, Tease . . . now that Friday, the 13th has passed (I can understand if you didn't want to have your baby on that date) - but, honey . . . let's get 'er done already!!!

Maybe, she needs some soothing music in her stall.  If that doesn't work, put something fast and upbeat so she'll get her groove on!!   :D

Tease is in due to storms today. Really hate stalling her this long but dont want to run out during the storm to put her back in. Some of the storms are supposed to be pretty bad.

I'm back to watch Tease again....I feel like I've been doing this for the last 2 months now, not sure how long it has really been.  I feel so sorry for Tease, she has to be so uncomfortable...no wonder she is being mean!  It has to be soon now!  Come on Tease!

It's 11:30 p.m. Eastern time, and it looks like Tease is sleeping.  She's standing over by the door with her backside up against the side of the stall.

Get all the sleep you can NOW Tease . . . once your little one is born, you'll have no time to yourself!!  I've seen the other newborns run circles around their momma's shortly after birth.  Just be patient with your baby . . . don't be mean to him/her.

Good night Tease . . I have to work tomorrow, so I need to go to bed.  Hope all goes well with you tonight.

She is laying down again.

I always look at one of her hind legs, when she is laying down, and think....its a baby leg coming out. Then I get my mind adjusted and realize it is her own leg.
