My body is TOAST!

I took my 10 yr old daughter to the zoo today...About two hours and my body feels like parts are just going to crack right off of it! What was I thinking??

Anyway, We had a good time. My feet were killing me and I did do a little mental happy dance when she said she was tired and wanted to leave..WHEW.  ;)

Hope you all have a great weekend....I will probably be here...;)

At some zoo's you can rent a wheel chair. Have her push you. Then you will both tire at about the same rate. At Disney World we did this and learned that parties with wheel chairs are moved to the front of the line. We saw more and did more. At the time I had my mother in the wheel chair and I used her wheel chair as a walker for myself. It worked out well for my family and me.

Poor you Cat!  I'm glad you had a good time at the zoo though, spending time photographing animals at the zoo used to be very enjoyable for me in my life prior to Sjs.

You mentioned that your body is like toast.  Well my body is more like Jello.  It comes in various colours and when I ask it to do something, it collapses on itself and gets very wobbly.  And if I don't watch it, it will melt in the sunshine and warmth or become stiff in the cold.  Lol.

Happy you were at least able to get a nice outing with your daughter even though you may pay for it later.

Yesterday I broke down and took the  Naproxen RX the Rheumy gave me, that had Nexium in it. HAH! Total joke. Didn't help my joints/aches at all, and only gave me a horrible stomach ache and terrible GI issues! DARN IT...And I have 59 tablets left! What a  waste.

I understand how you feel! I took my daughter to Sea world yesterday and I am paying for it! fatigue and aches and pains  :( But her little face lit up when she saw Shamu flipping through the air! they also had a baby killer whale that swam with the mother and they both waved to the audience with their fin, my daughter waved back and said "bye-bye fishy"  That made it all worth it!
