Hurt So Bad I'm Crying...

I'm hosting my bookgroup tomorrow, so I cleaned all day today, and will need to finish tomorrow. I was stupid, and also bathed one of my dogs. Tonight I hurt so bad that I'm in tears. I think I'll have to break out the Vicodin...

I'm a whining, moaning mess. Moaning Myrtle... :'(

I do that to myself all the time. With the start of the new year I'm really trying to be better about it. Trying to listen for my body to first start telling me that it's had enough then listen to it and stop. It's not easy. I feel for you. Seems like when we have a day when we feel half way decent we try to pack into it all we've had on our to do list. Then we end up paying for it with pain for weeks. So not worth it.

That said...I too over did it this weekend and now I pay the price. Had to come home from work early.

sissyjane - sorry you are hurting so.

Hope the Vicodin helps to ease some of your pain.

As far as the rest of the cleaning . . . hide things and just straighten up and count it good enough.

Hope you are able to enjoy your bookgroup tomorrow.

So sorry your hurting. I bet your bookgroup meeting will be worth at least some of the pain though. I love book groups. I am a reader.

I overdo it myself and then their is heck to pay. Rest with the pain meds and hope you are feeling better.

I'm up and getting ready to start clearing the house of Golden Retriever hair.(that's why it takes two days).

...and yes, I'm a Harry Potter fan!

I think I'll take a pain med before I start, with my morning tea.

I feel for you.  When I wake up with energy to clean my house, I KNOW I am going to regret it later!  Thank God for my daughter, she has become a much better housekeeper than I am.  I hate it, but I have learned to rely on my vicoprofen.  I take two before bed each night and usually one during the day while I am at work, or else I can not function.

Yesterday I woke up super early and even walked the treadmill.  Felt great....but boy I thought I was going to pass out from fatigue later in the day.  I keep telling myself that if I can do the treadmill at least 3 times a week then I will feel better all around.  Gonna keep working on it.  Just didn't want to get out of bed this morning, though.  But I did and made it to work.  Already took a pain pill.  I hate feeling "addicted" but don't know what I'd do without it.

I hope you have a great book club today and I envy the fact that your house is clean enough to have company...ha!

Shani

Sorry to hear that you were on so much pain, Sissyjane.
We always tend to overdo it whenever we wake up with plenty of spoons, or more spoons than usual.

Enjoy your cup of tea and take it easy, ok?:)
Ese I'll need to fly over there and wiggle my finger at you. ;D

Reanne

I hope your day went well!  I can relate to the constant pain.

Carolina

Yeah, the thing is we never know when what we do will be toooooooo much.

Or if we do, our WILL says we WANT TO DO IT.

Nevermind the price

sigh.

The wonderful women in my bookgroup just left a bit ago, and I'm doing much better tonight than I was last night. I slept well last night, and paced myself today.

I feel good, but my face is flaming red! I keep getting this, and have no idea why? I put ice on my face and it didn't help?!
