Can you get the meds from another store, or have THAT store call for a transfer? I think if I had tix to a Steelers game, I would pack on the clothing and GO HAVE FUN! (I haven't been ANYWHERE fun in a long while) We have a fairly new BB team, The Thunder, here in Oklahoma, and I would LOVE to go (Inside, I know, but WOW, the cost!)  :o

Ouch! quite the dilemma!  First of all I'm a very girly girl EXCEPT when it comes to football (I play FFL :D) so I don't know if I can help you here.  I would be in the same dilemma as you because I would be wanting to go so bad for my team especially during the playoffs!

So many open field stadiums in the worst winter area conditions... Philidelphia, Pittsburgh, Chicago, New England, Buffalo... they really need to build some closed stadiums for the players and the fans... takes money though I know.

A domed stadium in Pittsburgh?,,, thats never gonna happen,, with teh exception of me,, the colder the better,, Good God,, I;m cold allready

LOL... true, I think the fans don't mind it as much.  And it's always a "home field advantage" but man I cringe when I see those players slipping around in the snow/ice.  Oh and those poor kickers that have to attempt a field goal in those crazy wind chill conditions, but I digress haha.

Hope you have fun!!!  Go to a hunting store (do you have a Bass Pro Shop or something like that?) and see what they have as far as stuff you can wear under your clothes.  There are a lot of stuff for very frigid temperatures for hunters to keep warm... some very neat stuff.

Truthfully I havenot been out of this house in weeks, i;m talking weeks and I almost forget what its like to be around someone else other then my Dog and bird, and now to shove me into a crowd of 68,000 half drunk , foaming at the mouth Steeler fans,, rude awakening to socializing again,, but my son just called and said I just made his day by going,, grin and bear it I guess,, see you all Monday, wife has strict instructions  that if we lose,, remove all signs from the house before I tend to be a sore loser

Just saw your post, I do hunt, so I do have enough warm weather gear, ,,,, short story,, I was at a playoff game before I got sick, played against the Bills,, it was 12 below and there was a guy in front of us,, he stripped off everything on top and people were handing him cups of beer which he was dumping over his head,, I was so cold I had newspaper shoved down my my boots,, spent most of the game in the restroom where it was warm

At a hunting store, you can get battery-operated socks and gloves.  Very toasty.  And a thermos of something hot to drink will help too.  Bundle up and have fun!

Hey tired of it....are ya tired of the cold too!lol

Go have FUN! ;D

Stop by your local walmart, dollar store, or hunting store and get those hand warmers. I do recess duty and have the ones that are reusable that you snap the disc inside. At soccer games I bring about 20 in a back pack and sit there and pop them the whole game. I put em under my bum, in gloves, on top of shoes, on my legs and hold them to my cheeks and forehead. You can also get the disposable ones that last for like 8 hours but have to be opened 30 minutes before you want them hot cuz they take tiime to heat up. The disc ones are the best but I have a hard time finding em except for online. The dollar store is where I originally got em, but they didn't carry any this year.

Stay warm!!

LOL Tired of it ..I'm almost in the same boat here.... my sister in law asked to go upstate with her house hunting (which i love) early in the am 8:00!! First I believe I also have a sinus infection and I don't do mornings very well...takes me anywhere between 1-2 hours to get myself up going with all these meds and body aches!!

I'm gonna troop it tho cause I haven't gone out in so long and would hate to disappoint her...

Have fun and warm thoughts to ya ;)

I watched the game from the warmth of my sofa today, but the excitement of the game would've kept me warm!

I hope you had a good time in spite of the 9 degree temp and sinus imfection. I was happy to see them win and hope they continue their streak!

Those foam ski masks for skiing are great for protecting your face.

For next time.

You will look scary, but you will be warm!

For me football is way better on TV.

BUT memories with your son trump everything.

Stay warm, get well.

Glad to hear you had a good time in spite of the wear and tear on the body.

It's true that good memories of times shared with family are a treasure not to be missed. I'm reminding myself of that as I prepare for a month overseas with my husband! It's a little scary but will be so worth it.
