Hi Allison,

Welcome to the forums.  Definitely mention the itchy bumps to the rheumy.  It could be vasculitis which I get when I go off prednisone and is definitely a sign of an inflammatory condition.  That was one of my first noticeable signs of SS and it really zings you. There is no ignoring it LOL   The dryness sort of just crept up on me silently. 

*Personal opinion disclaimer*
Don't let the rheumy be too cautious with treatment.  Once things go completely haywire it is harder to bring under control and damage is done.  You are lucky enough to have an early diagnosis - so proactively prevent as much organ/joint/gland destruction as you can now! Preserve what you got!

I know this advice was meant for Allison BUT you make alot of sense! And I never really thought about it that way!!
