LDN (low-dose Naltrexone) & Plaquenil side effects similar?

I recently read that one side effect of LDN is vivid dreams. Interestingly, that is the symptom that bothered me most with Plaquenil and led to my quitting it 10 months ago.

I'm considering a trial of LDN soon, and after reading about that particular side effect, I wondered whether both LDN and Plaquenil increase endorphin production (which has an immune-modulating effect). I know this is supposed to be true of LDN.

Any thoughts from anyone who has taken or is currently taking LDN? Do the vivid dreams abate after awhile? Do you feel LDN helps you?

Thanks,

Calli

Callie,

I read about LDN therapy a few years ago but haven't read anything lately.  Would love to hear how you do after giving it a try.  I have not taken Plaquenil so I can't comment on the vivid dreams.  But, I do remember you saying you quit because of this side effect.

Good luck and keep us posted.
