Which Kindle You Recommend for this Senior Citizen?

Hi All, Need some advice about Kindle's as none of my kids have one. They all can see well...

Did not realize there were more than one product available as you folks have posted about Kindles and I have faithfully read your posts.
Here are 3 different ones I found on Amazon today:
Kindle 
Kindle 3G 
Kindle DX

You have a preference? Please will share some of the +'s to one you may have?
Have had many eye issues and still have a glare problem even after last surgery. 

Surgeries to peel both and grow new epitheliums in 2000 and Crystal Lens put in when having cataract surgery in 2009.

Do you prefer one of the above for ease on hands to hold? Carpal tunnel surgeries on both wrists several years ago

Any suggestions you may offer ASAP will greatly be appreciated as like to purchase one during Black Friday Sales.
