Ebook Readers

I just bought a Pandigital ereader. Anyone else have one? It came with 100 books already loaded. I ordered it from QVC
I don't know whether to keep or send back. Help!!

I have the Barnes and Noble NOOK.  It's not backlit and has some technology that makes it look more like a printed page.  Very easy on the eyes.  Lots of download formats, so I can download from the library.  At the time, Kindle was not very versatile; I think maybe it's changed now.  If I had it to do over, I'd save up for an iPad.  It's a little bigger screen, but still lightweight.  My sister has MS and spends an hour on the couch each day.  She always has her iPad with her, either surfing the net, watching movies, reading books, or even listening to audiobooks.  The ebooks really look like books.

All being well I am getting my Ipad next month, my Son has said he will get me one it will be great for when I'm not too good and bundled up on the recliner lol.

I have a Nook and have had it since May. I love it!!!!!!!!!! It is the e ink so no back lit, easy on the eyes, Nook does alot of different media, epub,pdf and a bunch more. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a ereader. Anyone with specific questions feel free to message me.

I just got a Kindle and love it.  I went to Best Buy so I actually got to hold and 'play' with both the Nook and the Kindle and I kind of had my heart set on the Kindle going in just because of the book selection and storage space (although the Nook allows for a expandable memory).  But what really tipped the scale in favor for the Kindle is the weight of it.  It seemed like a feather compared to the weight of the Nook.  I just couldn't picture holding up the Nook for long periods of time without my wrists hurting much quicker.  The Kindle is pretty light in comparison.

I got a Kindle last summer.  (Then they reduced the price by $75!!)  I love the ease of reading it with the different size fonts.  I carry it with me at all times.  It's nice to have so that you can have backup books already loaded for when you finish one.  You can now get some games on them besides the books, magazines, etc.  I would recommend it to anyone. 

I've heard you can share books on it.  I just need to learn how.

For those who own both a Kindle and an iPad, there is a Kindle app available in the App Store that allows you to read your Kindle books on your iPad.  This is what I am doing now.  The iPad screen is bigger and you can still enlarge the fonts.  I believe that the app is free, don't remember.
