We've been lucky this year here in the Midwest.  We've had a dryer summer/fall this year than last year.  Here, where I live, is farm country.  Most of the fields have already been harvested.  Only a few remain to be harvested.

They harvested our soybean field two weeks ago.  Then, those pesky Asian beetles or ladybugs or whatever they are, start swarming and flying everywhere.   ::)

When you're outside, make sure and keep your mouth shut . . . trust me, beetles/ladybugs DO NOT taste good!

I was outside petting the cats today and one of those nasty critters (bugs) bit me!!   :o  Ouch!

Every time the outside door opens, in comes a bunch of them and they like to congregate in the corners of whichever room they happen to be in at the time.   You'll find a whole cluster of them in the corners.  Make sure and cover any beverage you have sitting out or they will be doing the backstroke in your cup!!    ::)

It rained a little yesterday and today and their activity seems to have picked up.  Great!  NOT!

Probably gonna have to get the vacuum cleaner out and suck them up - I get tired of them crawling all over the counters, landing in your hair, crawling all over us.  Sigh.

Anybody want any beetles/ladybugs?  You can have all you want for FREE.

They are not too bad here...but they are here!

Oh, that sounds awful!  Bet your cats go nuts chasing them.   I hope they die out soon.
