I am still waiting on the go ahead to start the Methotrexate, I have had so many tests lately and I still have not heard from the Rheumy to go ahead and start the Meth. I am so mad at all this stuff. I feel like I am at a standstill with treatment and the desease is progressing. I am hurting all over since they took me off of Lyrica. I just want to be able to do the same things I use to do and not pay for it the day after. I am sick of all this!!!! I don't want to be sick anymore!!!!

I had the pulmonary function test and I can get air in and get air out but it doesn't circulate very well. Waiting on the Pul dr to call.

And to top it all off. I can't have my bath tonight. We are out of water. Some idiot who is replacing the guard rails on the main road busted our water lines in about 6 places. I need my bath so I can sleep!!!! I am mad!!

Sorry to drag you all into this but I am so mad. My daughter says I am in denial! You think??
I don't want this anymore. >:(

I know you all feel the same way and I don't mean to complain but I cannot keep it in anymore!!

G'day harlin, go ahead vent to your heart's desirer.  We all have those times where we just want to scream. You scream here and We'll  listen.

Methotrexate, wow that is some really potent stuff.  I hope it will do the job for you.

Take care and vent away

VENT all you want Harlin..I understand!!!!! I love the Rhumy we go too, but good lands she stays so booked. I don't go back until Oct. 20..which means nothing has really changed as far as my treatment goes. SO, JUST VENT again if you want.

harlin, I hear you about being sick of this stuff but it sure sounds like you are more mad about the idiot who broke you water main. You need your bath you said so you can sleep. Any time there is interruption in water it drives me crazy. Spoiled people we are in this day and age. Hope you can sleep in spite of it all.

How about a gallon of drinking water from store heated on this stove for a sponge bath???? Anything to help a person feel better. Irish ;D

I hope your water is fixed by now. We had a water pipe burst a year ago and had no water for days. You don't realize how much you use it until you have none.

I hate waiting on doctors and tests. They should get paid according to turnaround time.

Hear anything yer Harlin,,?       Hope your water is back on,, we have some shredded guard rails right up the road from us,, and the state has yet to fix them,, were just waiting on the next wreck to do a header into the pile of metal that used to be a guardrail,,, and we have deer constantly that constantly jump onto the road here,,

AND at 5PM you can set your clock by this idiot,, he has one of those crotch rocket motorcycles,, hes hitting 5th gear about the time hes going past our house,,, hes nothing but a blur,, I know hes doing a 100,, at least,, so one day i;m just waiting for that deer to jump out in front of him,, I;ll call 911 and tell them to just send the pumper trouck to hose him off the road,,, wont even need a body  bag,,, just a bucket will do

Good luck Harlin.  I hope you don't get jumped by saying you're mad.

harlin, You are just fine!!!! It is ok to be mad on this site. You vented your anger really well and I don't blame you for being mad. Irish ;D

Oh, Harlin,

I understand how you feel about the water issue.  I arrived home today, smiling Dixie because it's Friday.  Then, oh,oh!  I see a HUGE mess and GIANT hole in front of my house.  I guess the water line broke and we have no water  :'(

Interesting about all the broken water mains. Must be the cold winter we had last year and then the sudden heat of summer.

Our main street has 2 broken water mains within a block and right in front of a restaurant. I almost have to laugh as our city is so broke cause they spent all the money on really stupid things over the past couple of years and these things have come back to haunt them. Could be a big financial problem for them. Irish ;D

Harlin, Sweet Harlin, Trust you heard from the rheumy today. And, you can file yesterday in the file and move onto Saturday and the cooler weather that due.

And, find that one special thing in your day tomorrow.  3 minutes by my counting and it will be Saturday....midnight nears here ;)!!! Time for me to go to bed.

Trust this finds you in a 'better frame of mind' with a good warm bath taken and snoozing your game.

Love, Joy

I hope your water is back on.  We had a storm last month and my husband told my son in law who was living with us at the time to report the power outage.  He called and listened to half the message, and never reported it.  We are on a well, so we need power for water.  Four hours later my husband called and listened to the entire message and reported our outage and we were the FIRST ones to call it in, in our area!!  It took 4 more hours to get power.

Last week my phone and net went down...the guy told me it was my interior wiring....so, I needed to pay to get it fixed.  Hubby and I were on a drive to the nearest home improvement store and there were 2 TDS trucks.  Later they called me, some dum dum had cut a cable with 100 lines.

Again my phone was out yesterday....ugh....I am ready to get a woodburner and prepare for armagedon.

Nothing is worse than feeling sick, needed HEAT and not being able to get it.

Inga,, I suggest getting a small generator,,, somewhere around 2500 to 3000 watts,, that will easily run a furnace,, and a few lights

irish

Boy, I hope this get you up and running cause it is rotten to be without the electricity. We have a well also and if a person doesn't have advance notice you can't even draw up some water for short term use. Stnading in the lantern light trying to find the number of the electric company is fun, isn't it. Also, standing in kerosene lantern light in your pj's while you use a pail to empty the sump hole isn't fun either!!!!

Also, phone service in the country can get dicey at best. We have the big junction box at the end of our driveway and whenever we have problems they always try to blame it on our phone, etc. They never want to admit that it could be the service running up to the house. I can't think of one time that it has been "our fault". Have to call more than once and gets really old because there is no "live person" anywhere answering these service center phones. Sometimes I think the old days didn't demand such high expectations from us---but man would we every miss all our gadgets!!!

Stay warm and well. Irish ;D

Why is it ALWAYS the wiring in the house?  Could it be they want their $80 per hour fee?
