Hi my name is Amy. I've been living with PSS since 2007 (officially) and maybe longer. I was being treated with Methotrexate. I am being treated with Arava now because my Rhuematologist didn't feel like Mtx was helping me. I suffer from severe dry eyes, dry mouth, joint pain and stomach irritability. I have flares that are sometimes very difficult to live with. I'm looking for people or a support group in NW Arkansas. If any of you are from around here please please let me know. I'm very glad to have found this community on line.  ;D

Hi Amy - welcome to your new Sjoggie family.   ;D

We do have members in Arkansas - perhaps they will pop in to welcome you.  Lucky you - we are also a worldwide support group!!  We've got members in Australia, England, Canada to name just a few (besides here in the USA).

There is also a "live" chat forum that meets on various days - you can check out the schedule for your area under the chats link.

I hope you find this forum full of helpful information for you.  If there is a particular subject you are interested in - if you put that word or words in the search box in the top left it will take you to previous threads about that topic.

Again, welcome.

Hi Amy,

Let me also welcome you to the SJS World and family!  Please do continue to search the board as it's really an amazing place, and let's not even mention tons of information to be had.

I'm sorry I'm not around that area (mid-Atlantic), and hopefully there'll be a member that be from your area.

Take care of yourself, and always remember if you can't find what you're looking for using the search above, don't be shy and ask away as there is usually someone around that might be able to help.
