HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!

Hi 

The group I sing with were asked to go along to a women's day celebration at a local university. There was a proper choir there, us, people reading short stories, students on a creative writing course reading poetry, a woman from a rape crisis centre and lots and lots of women.

After the event there was food and wine.

A nice time was had by all but am not sure whether I'll wake up in time for work tomorrow!!

Don't think I ever even knew there was such a day, learn something new everyday!

Wasn't no bra buring going on was it? I often think we might need a International Bra Burning Day, just as a reminder!
