I would sure try to come up with the money, might be homeless and naked the day of treatment, but I figure I would be healthy enough to work afterwards to buy another home and some more clothes, so YES I would go for it.

My mom used to always try to push me to take out a loan for cornea transplant, I never did because the chances of it being a success was not great enough, so I would first need to know that this procedure has helped more than say 2 people!

It sucks having an energetic mind and a old body!

Rats, I didn't read this right.  Or I don't know if I did.  If it would not be paid for by insurance, BUT OUR current insurance would continue to pay for treatments, I'd not spent that money.  Now I was hoping you'd say "they" would give us the $75,000 and I'd take and off like a shot.  Hawaii, Vegas, Iowa, Wisconsin, Cincinnatti, Alaska, you name it.
