Poochie

I would like to ask you all to keep good thoughts and send some prayers my daughter Penny's way on Friday.

She going for her disability hearing on Friday and this is the third time.  She has a lawyer this time and we are all praying she gets it this time.  She and her husband have been real tough times these past 3 years and they are about to lose their home because she can no longer work.  On top of my son-in-law trying to work his regular job and side jobs on weekends, he was struck broadside by a driver in a pickup that ran a stop sign.  After spending a week in the ICU he continues to try to work and keep up with things but they really need this disability for my daughter.

Please say a prayer and keep good thoughts for her on Friday, the 19th.  With all the spinal injuries and the growths in her lungs and kidneys, plus the Fibro, the progressive loss of use of her legs and arms, she has really been in pain.  She's 48 and has been fighting this for the past 17 years.

Why does it take a legal army to convince this judges that she truly needs this.

Thank you,

Pooh

Hoping it wil be 3rd time lucky for your daughter Pooh.  It sounds like she has really been through a lot and her husband too.  It shouldn't be so hard for honest, hard-working people to be supported when the need is so clear.  Will be thinking of you all this week and saying a prayer on Friday XX Ailsa

Dear Pooh, Here's more good wishes and prayers for your daughter on Friday.

I can imagine your worry , as we have had lot's of unemployment here in the UK,

and my own  have suffered , but this is sheer madness to expect people to manage when so sick.

Pray that common sense and a little humanity wins the day..
                                                     Lots a luck, Dolly

Pooh - all thoughts concentrated for Penny on the 19th  It's incomprehensible that it's had to go to a third hearing!! I just hope she gets what she justly deserves.

Really thinking of your daughter. Its not fair that when you feel so unwell, you have to fight for your rights like this. In the uk, people apply to the Government departments for benefits and can get turned down but at least we do not have to have a lawyer on board although i am given to understand the appeals process is very lengthy as well. Certainly some illnesses are flatly refused first, second or even third time and some people i know just give up applying as it impacts on the illness so much. So i am sending you all some good thoughts.

Poochie, Oh my gosh, I did not realize that your daughter was having such bad health issues. And her husband also. I can't believe their bad luck. I will most certainly keept them in my thoughts and prayers and also the 19th as she applies for disability. Hopefully this time will be the magical one. Irish ;D

We will definitely keep all of your family in our thoughts and prayers and wish for a successful outcome this time. It is unimaginable what they have gone through, and with their home in jeopardy on top of all that.

Take care,

Genko

Pooh,
My prayers go out for your daughter Penney that this time she will be approved.  Most especially I will pray that those hearing her case.  I pray they will open their minds to the facts and open their hearts to her suffering.  I still to this day do not understand how people are approved.  Some who seem to need it the most, have to fight the hardest to be approved.  Your family will be prayed for everyday this week.  Please let us know how things go for Penney.

Bernice

I 'm too praying that ALL goes well for your daughter and SIL. I pray that she is abe to get money dating back since she first applied all these years ago, hoping that it will be a blessing so that they can have a fresh start.

Peace & Be Blessed!
