That's such wonderful news especially because you've been so worried about your son.  What a great way he chose to give you the news too:  8 visits to doctors this month ....!

Congratulatioins Scottie, It is so wonderful to be a grandparent. It is too bad that you are not closer, but it is great that technology will allow you to see the baby via the internet. Also, you will have such fun talking with your grandbaby when he is older. He will get to see your face and then learn to know your voice all through modern technology. September is only 7 months away!!Irish

Congrats to all your family Scottie - and thank goodness for video links.  My friend is currently in Oz for the birth of her fourth grandchild (2nd in Oz) and she says her granddaughter has no hesitation in rushing up to her and Gramps for hugs on arrival because she speaks to them several times a week on video.  It's not ideal, but at least you see the major changes and get to talk face to face.  Enjoy - I am very jealous.

Sorry for the delay in replying Scottie, but it's still sent with the same heartfelt and loving congratulations.

I'm sure everyone is telling you it is so different with your grandchildren - and it is - couldn't understand it until I experienced it myself.

My Granddaughter is 2 in April and is the light of my life, and my reason for fighting to get up every day when  I feel so bad.  Enjoy every second.
