Rheumatoid Factor

I have Sjogrens with a rheumatoid factor of 500. Does anyone else have one as high as this ? At the moment I have a painful parotid gland but my symptoms seem to come and go.

Hi Jane,

I think my RF was 113 at its highest.  It has dropped to 34 since starting plaquenil, prednisone, and Cellcept.

Hi there, i was never told what my rheumatoid factor was,in the uk it just comes back saying positive or negative. Wish i new what my level was though. Also have big problems with my parotid gland and have six small lumps in my neck so having tests for lymphoma although things so far looking ok.

I'm in the uk and they told me (actually I asked !) I'm probably a pain in the neck because I ask ask ask. But since it's MY]body i think that's fair enough !

Yes, just ask the doctor Claire. Good Luck ! I'm actually not sure of the significance of rheumatoid factor levels. Perhaps someone else knows more ?
