Tingling Lips has gone!

Hi there,
Thanks to everyone for their empathy, insight and good wishes.
I saw my rheumy and she thinks it could have been a flare from a chest cold and that a flare can come sometimes 2 weeks after the "cause" of the flare.
An old friend also just let me know that she had a B12 deficiency being vegan and that supplements helped her lips tingling and her fingers tingling.

Since I have never been Dx'd Diagnosed for my neuropathies in my hands feet and groin parasthesias

Not sure if you had all your hormones checked...thyroid, estrogen, progesterone, DHEA....all my pain, severe numbess/tingling all over started shortly after
my total hysterectomy..and now menopause.they say low estrogen can affect the nerve endings? thyroid too?

Hi paperdoll, I sure hope that you had a good night's sleep, and that your doctors can pinpoint what's ailing you.  Hang tough, and I'll keep the fingers crossed for you.  Shoot, I may have to move to your area to see your rheumy, I would love to be able to refer to one as "beloved" just once. 

Hi gurs, I know what you mean about the hormone levels being screwy and causing a lot of problems.  I've been offered HRT a while ago, but I can't take it - wish there was another option.  And don't get me started about the thyroid, I'm just so frustrated with the endo community and I can't wait to find one endo that will look beyond the T4 only protocol, and work with the patient, not against their interests.

You prob need to find another doc, more alternative or one that is not and endo, and specializes in women's hormones. My free T3 is extremely low and I have all the
Hypo symptoms, but my endo says Im fine. I found a top woman MD who said my thyroid is wayyyyyyy too low and we will start some low dose T3 soon. These hormones can
cause alot of problems, seems that especially for menopausal women. Good luck, dont give up.
