Wine flu!

So...  one girl in our English Department is leaving and another getting married.  We went out for a meal on Weds night and I decided to swap the amitryptiline for a 2nd glass of wine.  Well, I woke at half past midnight with pains in all my joints from finger tips to neck and toes to hips... with awful heartburn too.

At work next day I felt much worse than the bride to be and the youngsters who can manage all this and more.  I guess there comes a time when a glass of wine is just not worth the pain..

I've had to kiss the wine goodbye too. The last time I had some was two years ago at my God-daughter's wedding. I just had the one glass at the reception in the afternoon, and then missed the evening reception, as I was in my hotel room being very sick.  I stick to whiskey now

Yeah, me too, any kind of spirits really, and I ain't talkin' about Casper either )!  

Dang, I miss a nice chilled glass of wine at the end of the work week, oh well, it could be worse I guess   (boo hoo hoo!).

Patze . . . ahhhh, I loved Casper . . . they don't make cartoons like that anymore. 

Tomorrow night I'm attending a wedding reception . . . I'll think of you guys and your "ordeals" as I sip my ice tea.

I just substitute my caffeine free diet Pepsi for all of the "other drinks" I used to have! I yiyiyiyiy....what a party animal I have become, don't you think?? LOL
