New to Sjogrens World Forum

Hello, I'm new to Sjogrens World. I was diagnosed with SS in February 2008. I'm a lady who lives in Maryland and I'm 47 years old. The Sjogrens Syndrome Foundation has a support group that meets in LaPlata, MD. I'd like to know if there is anyone with SS that lives in Prince Georges County, MD. I look forward to participating in the forum and the social networking. Thank you!

Welcome to the reluctant members group. I am a newbie as was diagnosed in March 2009. I live in Iowa.

Glad you have a support group there. It is nice to have others to talk to that understand. Just because I person may look ok doesn't mean they feel ok - I get that a lot.  Great website here and lots of friendly helpful people.  Everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful here I'd almost swear they were all Midwesterners. 
You don't get that look or feeling that makes you think you are an alien from another planet here.
