Does anyone know what this blood test means?  My result is <1 and the normal reference range is 9-67, so I am definitely low on something! 

This test is listed just below all the Sjogren's Antibody levels. 

I have searched the Internet, but so far am unsuccessful.

Rhonda, the ACE level is sometimes used in monitoring Sarcoidosis, as it can elevate in some people with that disease. Because it isn't present in all Sarc patients it can't be diagnostic, but for those that have it, it can show how the disease is progressing, or how effective treatment is.

Low levels can be seen in people with : Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) , Cystic fibrosis, Emphysema, Lung cancer, Starvation, Steroid drug therapy, or Hyperthyroidism, but isn't diagnostic for any of those.

Thank you.  I will definitely check that out!  I will bring up this low level with my Primary Care Doctor as I will be seeing her again in a week or so.
