All the info for the research that we have done?  Where are the things like Vit. B12, Neuropathy, etc.

They changed the message boards around,  I miss the old way.  Do you have Neuropathy?  I think my 4 year old might have the autonunomic neuropathy do you know anything about that?

Billydude

For the record.  I miss the old way as well.

Hi!

If you are looking for a particular subject like neuropathy or Vitamin B12 try putting it in the search box in the upper left hand corner to find some posts and information on that topic.

I hope that helps you out and you find what you are looking for!!

Hi Lynnemarie.   Sometimes you just want to browse topics without having a specific word to look for.  It was great to see what people were talking about in regards to a certain area.   Sometimes just putting in a search word just doesn't do it.   I truly miss the old way and would often find interesting topics in a catagory that I was more interested in.  I wonder what the problem was with the old way.

I think the "problem" was the overwhelming work load for the moderators.  Moderators are not easy to find--and keep.  The simplification was to assist them in keeping the board open and accessible to all.  It takes us a little more time to "search" for things, but I'd hate to think how wed be with no board at all.  When my SJS came up, this board was the most comprehensive thing I found.  Patients experiences often trump doctors comments.

Best to all, Lucy

PS. I am in no way speaking for the board or moderators, but just know from looking at the volume of posts this is a whopping job to keep this functioning at a reasonable level.

Hi Billye, I miss you a lot. Hope you are doing ok!!!

For the record, I was once a moderator on this board and I know that the work load was heavy with the board the old way. I could tell just by looking at all the threads going under a subject. Also, there was so much to read and answer that it was almost impossible for us to read through and keep track of things.

I miss some of the old board attributes also, but this way does make it easier for the moderators. And, yes, it is hard on the moderators as it takes hours every day to keep up with the board. I think a lot of times people are posting now and helping out others which is good.

Maybe the board could support another subject and start a list for research. We will see what happens!! Irish ;D

Billye just to help my neuro just put me on a prescription strength vitamin B for the neuropathy.  He says new research is showing great results with strong doses of vitamin B.  What I am taking is a stronger dosage and is suppose to be absorbed better than over the counter.  I have been on it for about two weeks and it has helped tone down the pain some what so Iwill probably have the script filled and keep it up for another month and see what happens.
